Always remember a discussion with a friend at the time who was adamant he had to go when he did, but I felt we went backwards after he left and the standard of football didnt particularly improve, imo 🤔 COME ON YE PARS! Dougie Imrie has won the fight to land the midfielder on-loan from the Light Blues. Championship rivals Ayr United and Queen’s Park both wanted him. English sides Grimsby Town, Cheltenham and Carlisle also tried to take the 18-year-old on-loan. Adamson considered his option and decided he wanted to move to Starks Park and work under Imrie. Rangers will have the option to recall him in January. Imrie was impressed with Adamson’s standout performances on-loan at Alloa Athletic. He feels the teenager can make a similar impact in the Championship. Imrie had success last season when he took young Rangers defender Paul Nsio. He has now stepped up and gone on loan with St Mirren. That was another factor in Rangers agreeing to this loan. Reply |

| 614. Author: wee eck Date: Thu 6th Aug 2026. 17:31 Dunfermline Athletic can announce that Callum Shearer has joined Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC on loan. Striker Callum joined the DAFC Academy in 2024 from Glasgow side Rossvale BC. He enjoyed an outstanding campaign last season, finishing as the Under-17s` top goalscorer after finding the net on more than 25 occasions. Last week young midfielder Struan McLeod also headed out on loan to join Dundonald Bluebell. Struan arrived at the club in April 2026 after impressing during a trial period, having previously been registered with Hibernian. Struan, as well as Callum, were part of the first-team squad that travelled to Bulgaria for the club`s pre-season training camp, gaining valuable experience alongside the senior players. The moves will give both 2009-born players the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. Everyone at Dunfermline Athletic wishes Callum and Struan all the best. Reply |

Lafferty joins the West of Scotland second division side after leaving Johnstone Burgh, having helped them seal promtion to the West of Scotland Premier League, as well as lifting the Scottish Junior Cup. Businessman and drummer from band GUN Paul McManus is funding the move.` Reply |

The Pars signed the 20-year-old from Inverness last year. They have high hopes for him. The chance to get more regular game time with the Red Lichties is something that could be beneficial.
