Airdrie parted with Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, 35, following their relegation to Scottish League 1 via the play-offs and Rankin joins after a short spell as Ayr United interim manager. Rankin, who made more than 100 appearances as a midfielder for each of Ross County, Hibernian and Dundee United, had a two-and-a-half year spell as Hamilton Academical head coach from 2022-25. "It`s a blank canvas, I think there`s only a handful of players," Rankin told Airdrieonians` website. "Everything needs built and that`s probably the point where you think you can put your own stamp on it." Reply |

He’d surely demand huge wages aswell. Calvin Miller reportedly close to signing for hearts, and they’re after Fagan-Walcott for £750k. Also interested in Barney Stewart but surely Falkirk would price them out of that.. Reply |
