Who was the Spurs left back that basically came out and said he hated football. Wanted to be a DJ or some bloody thing.

Wee black guy with an Afro, cracking player. Im sure he scored a bit of a screamer against someone šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤£ Redknapp was the manager šŸ¤”.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto

That’s the guy!

Well remembered

Or googled šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ‘šŸ»

Can’t remember if it was a podcast or just a clip online fairly recently talking about it

Martin Boyle has signed a one-year deal to stay at Hibs after it looked like he was moving on.

Falkirk have received a few bids for Barney Stewart and John McGlynn has indicated any proceeds are likely to be invested in a grass pitch and training facilities.

Livi have made an early start to recruitment and no surprise that they are again raiding the ā€˜released’ lists of the lower English leagues where they presumably have a couple of scouts (our ex-loanee Miles Welch-Hayes being one example of a player sourced down south). With the EFL finishing earlier than other UK leagues, their ā€˜released’ lists are mostly already published, with some interesting names for Scottish observers. If any club is looking for a new goalkeeper, Tobi Oluwayemi hasn’t been offered a new deal at Orient and is a free agent, as is Shamal George (Wycombe) who was of course on loan at St Mirren. Looking at outfield players, ex-Dundee prospect Max Anderson (still only 25) is being freed by Crawley, with veterans Josh Magennis (Exeter), Funso Ojo (Port Vale) and our one-time nemesis Kane Hemmings (Barrow) also not offered new contracts.

"we will do whatever we must to ensure promotion back next year."

"We will invest in a budget for next year that will allow us to be one of, if not the most financially competitive clubs in the Scottish Championship. We will not stop until we accomplish all of our goals, and then we will push on to grow further"

He was also the victim of a Jason Talbot "tackle". Google it if you can`t remember it.

TOBI seems to have drifted a bit with limited game time. He is from London so would want to ply his trade down there I would assume. It might be worth trying to get the Ox on a transfer if he was willing to come.

They`ve probably been spooked by Ross County`s experience post SPL relegation this past season !!!

I work with Jason Talbot. He`s right decent bloke and fairly quiet lad. I find it quite funny that he`s famous for that incident beacuse it doesn`t reflect his personality at all.

Talbot only got a yellow for "the tackle" but got a retrospective 2 game ban, he was however sent off 13 times in his career, including 5 times in 35 games for Port Vale where one manager suggested his poor disciplinary record was due him being over-committed. I seem to recall him being sent off in friendly for us as well ?

Don’t think he got sent off, but the friendly v East Fife where Cardle came back, he very nearly broke my friend’s leg with a challenge.

It was an absolute shocker and should have, if not been sent off, been removed as a sub for it being a pre season game.
