243. Author: Berkey Date: Wed 4th Jun 2025. 20:25 Don’t you say they raymie, don’t you say that unless you mean it! We have absolutely been missing a player who can run with the ball and beat a man, haven’t had one since Dom left. The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! 244. Author: NMCmassive Date: Wed 4th Jun 2025. 20:34 Ahoy!Ahoy!, Wed 4 Jun 19:49 Do you think some of our fan base would be no happy about signing Dylan Easton? I’m thinking of that celebration in front of the North West last season. Top notch sh1thousery but quite a few of the lads fell for it 😂 Firstly, he’s a good player Secondly, it would be funny to take one of their best players COYP Reply |
245. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Wed 4th Jun 2025. 22:00 NMCmassive, Wed 4 Jun 20:34 I’d actually love to see him come in (same goes for Callumn Morrison). Not sure The Wee Team would let him join us, so it feels unlikely — but he’s exactly the type of player we need, and I’d be delighted if it happened. Sure, a few of our supporters might kick up a fuss — a small minority, no doubt — but if he performs, that won’t last long. I’m old enough to remember Andy Smith getting pelters on his debut, and he ended up a bit of a legend from the Paton era. Reply |

249. Author: Pars11 Date: Wed 4th Jun 2025. 23:18 Easton lives in the Duloch area, signing for The Pars would be good for him. The Wee Team are losing players and like us are struggling for Goalkeepers, I hope they find it difficult to get a challenging team together. Bluebell Polka Reply |

He shouldn`t have been anywhere near our club and he was accepted. Easton would have no problem here. Not going to happen anyway. Reply |
251. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 07:55 Bertie Paton, Thu 5 Jun 07:40 Some fans weren’t happy when we signed O’Hara. That section loves to give it out, especially to players "taking up the rear", but suddenly get a bit precious when a player scores and gives a bit back. I remember Scott McDonald doing the same ran backwards past them, stuck the bum out after scoring against us, and folk were raging then too. Personally wouldn’t mind Easton. Quality player and proven at this level. If some can’t handle him giving it back to the young team now and then, that says more about them than him. That said, I can’t see him coming here. Looks settled at Raith, I`m pretty sure his sons are ball boys there. he might be involved in the Joe Cardle Academy in some capacity too? c'mon the pars Reply |
252. Author: jake89 Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 08:07 Easton lived in Duloch even while playing for Airdrie and I don`t think he coaches with JC since he moved to Raith. I wouldn`t read much into it. He`s 31 and settled there and I imagine they`d want to keep him there as he`s probably their best player. Reply |
253. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 14:04 Easton has done pretty well. I`m not taking the pee pee here, but take a few hours with a patch over one eye. You`ll understand how different it makes things. It messes with your depth perception and other aspects of vision. I`m guessing your brain just naturally adapts over time. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Author: GG Riva Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 15:32 kozmasrightfoot, Thu 5 Jun 14:04 Like TAFKA said, you were maybe meaning Shiels, Kozma. 🤔 England goalkeeper, Gordon Banks, lost an eye in an RTA and made a brief comeback. It wasn`t a success for the very reasons you outline. He missed almost every cross he went for and ended up retiring soon afterwards. ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |

259. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Fri 6th Jun 2025. 09:05 Buster_Brown, Fri 6 Jun 08:38 I wouldn`t say he`s any better than Mullen. Sure, the two of them together might`ve worked well, but honestly, there are probably options out there with equal or even better quality. c'mon the pars Reply |

I just thought in the centre of a back 3, he was ideal and would be the perfect mould of a player NL would have liked and a candidate for captain. No point in complaining though, not going to happen so let see who we do get 👍🏻 Reply |
