Joe Chalmers to Inverness

Always came across as one of life’s good guys and never hid on the pitch either. I’m sure he’ll do a good job in League 1 and be a key player for them. Hope it works out well for him

We just signed 2 of ICT best players and they get Chalmers…He’s ok if you want to keep the ball and pass but doesn’t offer much in closing player down and winning the ball. All the best to him though.

Joe should be not bad in the seaside league. It’s a good level for him. Hope he has a good time up there.

Joe had his good points and one of the players I`ll miss not having around, because, love him or hate him, you couldn`t ignore him.

This.

As was also said, he seemed like one of the good guys. Hope he has success at Caley.

Couldn’t tackle a fish supper as he wouldn’t even try but will do well next season as Inverness should be in with a good shout of winning that league so he’ll likely get time on the ball.

No doubt he’s a good guy but in this league if you’re slow, refuse to tackle or compete in the air and don’t track your men you get found out.

Too slow, too soft for the Championship. Decent if given time on the ball, so ICT will be a good fit for him in League 1. Think he will do well there.

He has the ability to play the unpredictable pass. Last season the whole team struggled, needs a fresh start.

Good luck and thanks Joe.

He`ll be a great asset for them in League 1, as we saw when we went down. It was absolutely the correct decision to move on from him for us in the championship, the last couple seasons have proven that about much of the squad.

Kilmarnock are reported to be interested in signing defender George Stanger after he turned down a new deal with Ayr but other clubs are interested both in Scotland and England (per Scott Burns in the Record).

Celtic have signed Isaac English, a 17 year-old defender from Morton, who hasn`t played a first-team game. The fee is reckoned to be c£50k.

Btw, good luck to Joe C. Maybe he`ll be more appreciated at ICT than he was with us.

ETA- Stanger to Killie is now confirmed.

Ayr United have announced defender Mikey Devlin has left the club.

The 31-year-old, capped three times by Scotland, joined the Honest Men in January after a torrid few years with injury.

He had a solid run in the team from November through January before injury struck again and ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

And now with his contract up, Ayr have announced he`s leaving.

ICT sign Ross Millen and re-sign Remi Savage for another year.

They are really getting their business done early and look like they`ll be favourites next year.

Decent player, even better person. Just a shame he can`t get a break with fitness
