1126. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Thu 7th Aug 2025. 16:46 We need to get ourselves one of these deals. Preferably with an English team or a European team. Maybe unearth a future gem or two. Lennon isn`t keen on loans though, but surely if they are quality he might have a change of heart. Also, you can only take a certain amount of loans so take Celtic for example, perhaps they can have a deal with more than one club. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. "Speaking this afternoon ahead of the Diamonds clash, Lennon said that he is also looking to add another defensive option, but was hopeful he might have another forward signed up before Saturday. "I`m hoping maybe we`ll have one in tomorrow. I can`t guarantee that, but I think we`re close," he commented. "So, we`ll see, and maybe one other player as well. "We`re in talks with a number of players in positions that we want to strengthen." When asked if attack and defence were the areas he was looking at, Lennon replied: "Yeah, at the minute, yeah, and then we`ll just do a little bit more surgery on it, in terms of adding to it and maybe getting a few more out on loan.“ Post Edited (Thu 07 Aug 17:19) Reply |

1137. Author: wee eck Date: Fri 8th Aug 2025. 11:38 Ross County Football Club are delighted to have secured the signature of Alex Iacovitti, who returns to the club on a one-year deal! Alex was previously at the club, first signing in 2020. The defender spent three seasons in Dingwall and was part of the side that finished in the top six in 2021/2022. Iacovitti then moved south to Port Vale, before returning north of the border to sign with St Mirren. Having already made over 100 appearances for the Staggies, Alex is no stranger to the club and the area, and is a welcome addition to our Championship squad. Manager Don Cowie commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have brought Alex back to the football club. Having spent three years here in the Premiership, he brings a knowledge of the club and area, as well as a vast amount of playing experience. Alex played an integral part of a top-six finish here while I was the assistant manager, and I’m hoping he can contribute to more success for us.” Reply |

1139. Author: wee eck Date: Fri 8th Aug 2025. 14:13 We can cross James Scott off our list of potential strikers - James Scott has moved to Ross County on loan. The St Mirren striker heads to Dingwall for the season. He will wear the No 44 shirt for the Staggies. Boss Don Cowie said: “I’m delighted that James has made the move to us. We believe he is a fantastic addition to the group. “After making contact with St Mirren, it was clear to see how motivated and eager James was to move North. “With the attributes he possesses, he adds real versatility to our frontline.” Reply |
