Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Mon 30th Jun 2025. 12:38 Queens Park Rangers aimed a cheeky dig at Rangers following the Championship club`s capture of 23-year-old Ghana midfielder Kwame Poku from Peterborough United for around £300,000 in compensation, the London club`s X account announcing that: "Kwame Poku signs for THE Rangers", followed by a winking face emoji. 😆 🤣 😂 Pars fan. 847. Author: Never10yairds Date: Mon 30th Jun 2025. 18:36 Never really rated McMullen when we had him before. Always felt he lacked vision and didn’t pick his head up before putting a ball in, the result being most of his balls into the box were ineffective. Ran with his head down. I thought he was big downgrade on cardle who I think we had just released. He might have improved with experience. Reply |
848. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 12:40 From the Scott Burns Q&A at the Record - `Aidenptfc asked: Are thistle close with any signings Louis Moult or Tony Watt in particular Certainly, with Louis Moult they have asked the question but hasn’t gone far beyond that. I also hear that there is potential interest in an Irish player...` Reply |

850. Author: LesliePar Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 15:06 kozmasrightfoot, Tue 1 Jul 14:32 He scored 18 league goals the season before last in the championship, for context no one has scored that many league goals for Dunfermline at this level since Kevin Nisbet. Madness to turn your nose up to him imo. COYP! Reply |

853. Author: 13en Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 17:26 Moult and Kane could be an ideal pairing, Kane’s hold up play when there is two strikers is what he was best known for at St Johnstone. He’s had to do all the hard work himself last year nobody reached anywhere near his goal contributions. Reply |

855. Author: Berkey Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 18:47 Moult did well 2 seasons ago in a team largely dominating but is now 33 and barely played last season due to injuries. He would be a big gamble and given Kane can’t string a run of games together, we need someone more reliable. Hopefully we are able to cast the net a bit wider than an aging striker with an ever increasing injury record, this was what I hoped for anyway. Post Edited (Tue 01 Jul 18:49) Reply |
856. Author: coventrypar Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 19:27 One thing I believe we wont do is sign anyone suspect on the injury front. Lennon has stated he wants "available" people. We now have a very robust backroom team of analysts/physios etc. Age wont matter - durability will. "If you have no kind words to say you should say nothing more at all" Reply |

858. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Tue 1st Jul 2025. 20:12 Perhaps the interest in Moult means Fletcher has better offers ? I’d be surprised if he couldn’t find an SPL club? He’d do a good job for Hibs. ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Post Edited (Tue 01 Jul 20:12) Reply |
859. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Wed 2nd Jul 2025. 05:40 Raymie the Legend, Tue 1 Jul 20:12 We have been interested in Moult for weeks, supposedly a deal was on the table in mid June. Really don’t get why people are talking down Moult and others that have been signed by league rivals as if we are better than them. We aren’t and these guys are experienced players for this level. 860. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Wed 2nd Jul 2025. 07:45 Dave_1885, Wed 2 Jul 05:40 Some could do with taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture here. A fully fit Louis Moult is a top striker at this level, no two ways about it. 18 goals in 33 Championship games in his last spell in these waters says it all. Yes, the injuries last season is a slight concern, no denying that, but if we`re building a side that creates chances, he’s exactly the kind of player you want on the end of them. A few on here are dreaming big because Bord`s in the building, but let`s be honest, we’re not suddenly going to be chucking six figure wages about. Moult, if managed right, is a smart addition. Knows the league, knows the game, and can finish. For a team that struggled for goals I can`t see the problem. And for those questioning the signing, who exactly do you think we’re getting that’s better? There isn`t a queue of 20 goal strikers just waiting to drop down to this level. When Kane’s going to miss spells, we need someone who can step up, and Moult’s got the pedigree. Big if, keeping him fit, but if we manage that, he could turn out to be a good bit of business. c'mon the pars Reply |
