302. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 10:17 Genuinely wouldn’t mind seeing Dom back. Would have no problem with that if it was to happen. Reply |
303. Author: da_no_1 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 10:47 Must`ve fell out with another manager. He`s talented, that goes without saying but there`s something not quite right about him. Would hate to see him back in the Championship for another club playing against us though! "Some days will stay a 1000 years, some pass like the flash of a spark" Reply |
304. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 11:36 Thomas is less than 6 months into a two-year contract. Has he been released `by mutual consent`? Reply |
305. Author: GJS93 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 11:47 Daily Record: "But despite settling in well to life in Northern Ireland, Thomas is ready to return home as he’d like to be closer to his young son. Several bottom-half Premiership sides and a string of Championship clubs have expressed an interest. And it’s believed Thomas is weighing up his options in Scotland, with an imminent transfer in the pipeline." Reply |

310. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 12:55 Wanting to be closer to his kid is a feasible reason to leave a club in another country. Jack De Geir left early for a similar reason did he not? Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |
311. Author: da_no_1 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 13:17 Yeah let`s just conveniently forget how the guy totally chucked it after signing a PCA with the team who relegated us. No way he`s getting a top flight deal. Morton or Ayr would be my bet. "Some days will stay a 1000 years, some pass like the flash of a spark" Post Edited (Sun 08 Jun 13:17) Reply |
312. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 13:23 All players are mercenary nowadays but some seem more mercenary than others. There are question marks around how he left us and then QP and now he is leaving Derry after 6 months. There`s no doubt he`s an asset at Championship level but he`d be a big risk I think. Reply |
313. Author: DA-go Par Adonis Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 13:37 Thomas didn`t get the chance to chuck it because he was stood down against QP. The team as a whole regressed at the business end of the 21/22 season, having looked to be turning the corner at the end of March. He can, however, be dismissed as any sort of option given that he was part of a squad which once got relegated - and that means he`s proven to be not good enough at this level - and never will be. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equal rights and justice in this time Reply |
314. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 13:43 I am not disputing Dom Thomas`s football skills, but to would be a retrograde step to bring him back to EEP. Sometimes you just have to move on. G Wardrope Reply |
315. Author: Vamos Pars Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 13:44 Dom Thomas is exactly the kind of player we need. Exciting to watch and can create chances out of nothing. I’m sick of watching boring football. Let’s sign some tricky wingers and get at teams. Reply |
316. Author: Bannockburn Par Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 15:48 His behaviour before the Queen’s Park match just before we got relegated will live long in my memory. It’s an absolute no for me…. Better more consistent players out there. Reply |

Sound logic that. Post Edited (Sun 08 Jun 15:55) Reply |
318. Author: dafc111 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 16:12 Would take him back. Can imagine he would love to work under Lennon too being a big Celtic man Reply |
319. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Sun 8th Jun 2025. 16:45 Going younger as a squad, so is he really the type of guy we want in the dressing room? His attitude always seemed a bit suspect. One of those players that if it’s not going his way, you can just picture him sulking about, bringing the mood down. And as DA rightly pointed out, let’s not forget how he left the last time. Didn’t exactly cover himself in glory, did he? No doubt he’s a good player on his day, but how often is that day? Starting to feel like the cons outweigh the pros for me. Right now, we’re trying to build something fresh, hungry, and happy to be part of a squad. I`m not sure he fits that mould anymore. Would rather give the minutes to someone who actually wants to graft and grow here. c'mon the pars Reply |
