He’s been given a contract as he “knows the club”, we obviously have different opinions and don’t agree but hey isn’t that what a forum is all about.

You obviously rate Hamilton and feel he makes a difference to the team and I don’t.

Spot on wee eck. That’s the only thing that matters.
I happen to agree with NL too.
He’s Pars through and through and can play a variety of positions.

On Pie and Bovril in the Ayr thread someone says that they can’t help it if Dunfermline are offering better money and it seemed to suggest someone may not be agreeing with them and maybe us.

Then McLennan puts that out. Might be a 2+2 =9 but you never know

I think we need to temper our expectations, I feel some are assuming a title challenge. After the last few years I`d settle for being up there and around the play offs, it would be a vast improvement imo and signs of progress, promotion and building a team of the type of signings to achieve that is a quite a challenge in one year.


Last year I said I’d be happy with 5th and took Pelters (before the Forfar game mind you, a lot of folk changed their tune after that 😂) not being funny but I want us to be in the hunt for playoffs this year but again, improvement and 5th would do. If the boys want to surprise everyone and chase a league title, I’d bite your hand off but from where we were that’s to that is to much to ask.

I’d be happy with McLennan and Stanger from Ayr, both refused new deals there and seeking a new challenge. Would be great additions to our side, both would walk into our starting line up.

As far as I can make out Telfer scored ZERO goals last season and has ZERO assists to his name. Hardly the creative player we need.

Mclennan hasn`t scored many goals going by the stats. 14 league goals since 2015. Once again, 14 league goals since 2015.

I`d pass on him if it was up to me, but I`m not.

Telfer scored 2 with 8 assists in 30 games with Airdrie 23/24. Since then nadda. 29 as well. Pass.

Boy at my work is an ayr fan and is sad to see him go, said he was creative and could bring people into games, so make of that what u will
