1226. Author: wee eck Date: Sat 23rd Aug 2025. 23:12 There`s a tendency to underestimate the strength of our own squad and overestimate the strengths of our rivals` squads, I think. There was a lot of envy being expressed about Ross County getting their business done early. How do we feel about that now? They seem to have a lot of experience in their squad, but can you have too much of that? Reply |

1229. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Sun 24th Aug 2025. 08:41 thebear, Sun 24 Aug 00:26 I find the RWB situation a total farse. We cut Comrie which at the time I found fair enough. He goes and brings in Kearney who actually fits the system. On paper that should’ve solved the issue. Instead, we’re shoehorning KRH in there, who looks completely out of his depth at times and offers less than Comrie ever did in that position. Meanwhile, every time Kearney gets minutes he looks solid defensively, gets forward well, and just looks natural to him. It fels like we’ve managed to downgrade the position by overthinking it. Absolute head scratcher. c'mon the pars Reply |
1230. Author: Berkey Date: Sun 24th Aug 2025. 08:48 I expect we’ll get a striker and another CB in and that’s all unless there’s a few loans out or someone is prepared to give us money for Otoo. I’d love another midfielder in there to compliment gilmour and amade but it’s unlikely. Kearney, amade, Jefferson and Kane coming into the 11 and we’ll look a far more capable side which can compete nearer the top of the league. 1231. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sun 24th Aug 2025. 08:57 I think the majority of issues from previous seasons have been addressed. I genuinely believe if it wasn’t for Airdrie having injuries/being in general dross last season and Hamilton just being pure basket case, we’d have been relegated. We were absolutely shocking. At the moment we look a mid table championship team to me, our biggest issue is in the final third (and possibly GK-Munn still young but so I’ll give him a pass on a couple of bad performances but you want to see him improve week on week - like Tobi did last season) COYP Reply |
1232. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 24th Aug 2025. 11:25 I see Dylan McGeouch is still without a club. There`s an interview with him in the Record. He`s 32 now and training on his own in a public park in Carlisle. I hadn`t realised he started off in Rangers academy but Neil Lennon visited him at home and persuaded him to switch to Celtic who were the team he supported. Post Edited (Sun 24 Aug 11:26) Reply |

1236. Author: wee eck Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 17:32 Some movement in the Championship - Ewan Wilson has moved to Raith Rovers on loan. The left-back arrives from Motherwell for the season. He made 39 apperances at Fir Park last term. and Tate Xavier-Jones has joined Airdrie on loan. He arrives from Luton Town. The 18-year-old netted 31 goals for the Hatters` Under-21 side and now arrives at the Diamonds for the next stage of his development. Reply |
